VIsta is VERY quirky when it comes to how you install the software. To install the software so it will work correctly with Vista, Either download the software package on your computer or get it on CD. If you run it from a CD, you will need to NOT allow it to autorun, instead navigate to the installation file by browsing the CD. The following will apply to both methods above. Locate the Installation File, Right mouse click the file and then select the option "Run as Administrator". If you are the administrator your thinking "why do I have to run it as an administrator", trust me...you still have to use this feature to allow the installation package to access all of the areas of Vista that it needs to. You may also run the installed software the same way the first time you use it to allow access to areas of Vista that weren't setup during install.
I tried SEVERAL times to install it without using this technique and it failed everytime. Once I used this technique, it installed and worked just fine. I only use my Vista system for Scenario creation, so I can't guarentee it will work with the maniquin.
Hope this helps.
PS, I am running Vista Buisness
