When I first started up the AV System both the AVS Server and Video Client software loaded fine. I was a little confused by the two default user accounts in Windows, but logged in using the AVS Server - this and all other software appeared to be running fine. However, shortly after rebooting, I started getting errors at startup that caused the system to lockup. I used msconfig to stop loading startup applets and the problem of locking up went away. I did my OS updates, joined the AVS computer to our domain, copied the AVS Server profile over the default user profile (to ensure that permissions and special settings associated with the profile were duplicated with each new user account created upon login).
However, now I get an error when starting the AVS Server software and am unsure what is causing the problem. I have attached the error log associated with the failed start here. If I had the installation software, I would just reinstall the software to correct the problem, but I don't believe that this is Laerdal's policy with this system.
I'm willing to give Laerdal Techsupport direct access to my computer if they wish to correct the problem remotely.
One other observation: The crash happens just as the AV Server startup dialogue says "Loading and initializing DSP . . . ." (or something close to this), and then the windows application crash window, displaying the attached info.
