Jackie: Were you able to get any from this request you had?    I am also interested in scenarios for Mental Health as well.   I have found a program called "hearing voices" and invested in that one  and will be implementing in our fall session.   If anyone has any others or suggestion to share, please let me know,  Thanks Denise

    Re: Mental Health Scenarios

I can't help you personally, but I attended and interesting session on it at INACSL. The speakers were:

Lorie Hacker, MSN, RN, and Amy Hayes, MSN, RN, CNE from Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis, Indiana,  Kristen Zulkosky PhD, RN, CCRN, CNE from Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Lancaster, PA and  Erin McKinney, MN, RNC from University Of South Carolina College Of Nursing

It was very interesting discussion on how they managed their psych scenarios during the NCSBN Simulation Study.

    Re: Mental Health Scenarios

Children's untreated mental health issues could spiral into psychiatric problems later in life unless more is done in schools, say head teachers. The National Association of Head Teachers says with a fifth of children having a mental health problem before age 11, it is a key concern. A snapshot survey of 1,455 English heads suggests two-thirds of primary schools cannot deal with such issues. The government says it has ring-fenced £1.4bn for children's mental health.
