    Warmer and SimNewB

I have my SimNewB on a radiant warmer in our simulation lab. The warmer heats up to 37.0 degrees C, could I cause damage to my SimNewB by keeping the warmer on during simulations. Is there a lower temperture I can keep it on? or a time limit for keeping the warmer on?

We don't let them turn our warmers on, I'm too worried about him getting too hot.

We also keep our NewB in a warmer unit; however, we also do not allow it to be turned on.  We use the light, but no warmer element...I worry that it may melt our baby.  Other aspects of our warmer are used, such as, the APGAR timer, the bed adjustments, etc.

     Hope it helps.
