all seems to be working; but, manikin not detected

I don't get a solid green light nor does my link box stay solid red.

but, i do get voice on the manikin. chest rises.  all changes done on the pc transfer to the secondary monitor.

i can't seem to find anything that doesn't work; but, i'd feel a lot better if all was green.

The monitor is a seperate cable off from the computer so should work regardless. I've had chest movement and pulses without a proper connection before due to a damaged cable - some signals going through it but not all - if you change the respiratory rate does the manikin change rate or just the monitor? Have you tried it with a different cable from the link box to the manikin, or even a different link box? If the link box isn't showing solid red then try going into manikin update (Start - All Programs - SimMan - Manikin Update) and see if it detects the link box or the manikin. Honestly unplugging and reconnecting every cable then turning it all on again works 90% of the time, making sure that you turn the computer on last - everything else should already be connected and powered on.

I did attempt a manikin update with no luck.

So far I'm going with the theory if it's working don't tweak it.  But, as I said I'd still prefer the solid lights.
