    Simpad & patient monitoring

Has anyone been able to use a SimPad and connect it to another monitor to show vital signs? I know we can use a 3G Patient monitor to seamlessly display vital signs, but often we need to run concurrent sessions in a separate room with our Mega Code Kelly or Sim Junior and we only have one 3G monitor? Is there a way to use a Laerdal ELO? I do not have funds to purchase another Laerdal Patient monitor.

Not directly with a SimPad, as the monitor for that is a full laptop with the monitoring software running directly on it. The only way to do it with the ELO would be to put the old Sim Man software which doesn't require a license onto any spare windows laptop and connect that to the ELO monitor. You would have to operate the SimPad and the laptop separately. It's not ideal but I've done it for basic scenarios and it works fine if you don't need to make a lot of parameter changes.
