We have used a VT 1 Boss device (hard to find, 400-600 bucks) for this in the past.  It is a non software solution that you utilize pre PC audio input.  It does work great but it took us about a year to find (apparently very hard to impossible to descramble the voice and hackers/unsavory people were using it to do hacker/unsavory people things)

    check it out.

Also check out thread where other kinds of software have been used.

Myself I tried MorphVOX Jr (free, there is a pro version as well for $40). Download from and install it. Set it to have "Morph" on, but not "Listen". Then go to VCA and change the microphone used in Options->Audio Device Setup to be "Screaming Bee Audio". In Morph select Man/Woman/Tiny depending on what you want, and listen how your voice sounds from the manikin (I tried with headset on linkbox). Maybe good enough?
