• Re: Pre-event Mannequin Checklist

Have a look in the ''Down Loads'' for a check list used to introduce the manikin functions (last one in the list - User General Folder - Wizard Pre-brief)It might be suitable for your purposes (or download and modify to suit?)regards Trevor Snow

We have been using these self adhesive pads with the brass disks for several years and have always taken precautions which are standard for a O2 rich environment (in fact I only use Medical ...

  • Pacing Simulation

Has anyone found a way to teach pacing protocols without using the 3G, but using a live defribrillator? I know we can run 3G in virtual mode but this does not allow the realism of gradually capturing and then losing capture? Are there simulators on the market that can allow a learner to gain and lose capture? If so, what do they generally ...

  • Simpad & patient monitoring

Has anyone been able to use a SimPad and connect it to another monitor to show vital signs? I know we can use a 3G Patient monitor to seamlessly display vital signs, but often we need to run concurrent sessions in a separate room with our Mega Code Kelly or Sim Junior and we only have one 3G monitor? Is there a way to use a Laerdal ELO? I do not ...

This is apparently a common issue starting to show up across the country here (recalling that many Australian Institutes purchased manikins in 2013 with Grants...I purchased two Essentials.) The Laerdal Tech recently replaced this part which was under our warranty agreement. I have ...
