• Re: Lab files

Using PNG and other image and media formats works fine also for Labs. If you are using them in a scenario, just make sure you select the correct file extension filter in the Open file dialog. By default it only looks for text files (txt, pdf, html), but by changing the filter you can add any file type. LLEAP/Patient Monitor is able to present most ...

  • Re: error code

Going back to SimDesigner 6.4 will not solve the Silverlight error. That would be a separate issue with the Windows setup. Please contact customer support to get help with this.

  • Re: error code

Hi, There is a confirmed bug in SimDesigner 6.5 causing this error. This bug will be fixed for the next release (6.6) scheduled for end of November. Until then, please either use the previous version of SimDesigner (6.4) or use automatic responses in the phase editor instead of handlers.

  • Re: LLEAP-Elo Touchscreen issue in opening labs and media files

Hi, we have released a patch to solve this for LLEAP 6.3. It is available on the Laerdal download page under ''Laerdal Patient Monitor patch 6.3.0 Build 3141''. ''This patch fixes an issue where a Patient Monitor running on an ELO touch screen doesn't register touch input when selecting radiology/media/labs files to present on the monitor. ...

  • Re: CPR with LLEAP

Hi, This is a lot simpler in LLEAP version 6.1 and newer where we introduced ''themes''. Now when starting LLEAP and running manually you would typically run the ''Healthy patient'' theme. This has a predefined ''healthy state'' called ''All normal'' and this can easily be activated (one click) and will return the whole patient state to that of a ...

Then try reinstalling LLEAP/Patient Monitor. LLEAP will automatically install the correct ELO driver. If you want to try installing manually then note that ...

  • Re: Automatic Voice conference activation with LLeap start up

Hi, Even in the legacy 3G software, the animation of assisted ventilations where split from the animation of the spontanous respirations. This was done to better distinguish the two. The assisted ventilations where shown in a separate CPR window for ventilations. When we added the the new CPR feedback windows to LLEAP 5.4 we removed the ...

  • Re: Automatic Voice conference activation with LLeap start up

It is correct that LLEAP currently requires Voice Conference Application (VCA) to run and will automatically start it.When running simulators that use a LinkBox, VCA is required to run since it also handles playback of any pre-recorded vocal sounds. We are considering (in a later version) to add an option to disable the speak function of VCA ...

  • Re: Trouble with Serial to USB connection

We've seen that several USB adapters are not working well with Laerdal equipment. I would recommend the adapters offered on These both have an FTDI chipset: 5m version: 10cm version:
