• Re: simman & simpad linkbox

Sorry, but SimPad do not support the Classic SimMan nor the Classic SimBaby that both use the 9-pin COM-port of product #380100. These two products are only supported by our PC Windows platform - LLEAP.

  • Re: Using Non-Laerdal Computers with LLEAP

Hello Michael, Do you use multiple monitors on these computers? I.e. do you run both LLEAP (the instructor interface) and the learners Patient Monitor Application on the same computer but on different screens? The challenge with this is that the instructor and the learner must share the same mouse pointer. So if the learner touch the screen of ...

  • Re: Patient monitor freezes when first NIBP is activated

Hello David, Could you please inform us what version of the simulator SW you are using. In the instructor application, navigate to the <Help> menu and then select <About...>. You should see the version number in that popup. This was a known issue in the old SimMan 3G software but should be fixed in the newer LLEAP SW. LLEAP ...

  • Example - how to support multiple versions of LLEAP from the same application

We have suggested a solution that can be found attached. It contains an application that are able to load two version into the same process (but different appdomains). The demo shows how to do this and prints the following: Old SDK version = ...

  • Exchange data between your SDK application and a simulation scenario made by SimDesigner

Hello, Note that the SDK allows you to read and write from/to user defined variables and timers in a LLEAP scenario created with SimDesigner. This can be useful if you want to synchronize your application with a simulation session that runs in LLEAP. You can have the scenario write values to a variable in order to send a signal/information to ...

  • Re: Laerdal Support for Windows 7 Enterprise

Hello Sean, Enterprise and Ultimate are as you point out running identical binaries and are essentially identical out of the box. There is nothing in the old 3G legacy SW nor in LLEAP SW that prevents it from being used on Enterprise. However, Enterprise Windows computers are normally strictly controlled and restricted by policy rules enforced by ...

  • Re: Ventilation Data

Hello, The value you are looking for is derived from the parameters mentioned further up in this thread. There is also a parameter named ''avgVentilationVolume'' that carry the derived value but it is not available from the SDK at the time. I'll write you mail where we can discuss this closer. Best regards

  • Re: Can't connect to virtual manikin

Hello, It's hard to say what goes wrong from your description. Do you attempt to connect to a physical manikin (simulator) or a virtual? Sound like a virtual server but I am not 100% sure. Check that the SDK and LLEAP is based on the same version. The current version for both is 5.3.0. Remember that if you use a physical manikin of the ...

  • Re: Ventilation Data

Hello Chris! I can see from your LinkedIn profile that you possesses DotNet programming skills. Then You probably will be able to use the LLEAP SDK to create an application that generates the logs you need. The SDK comes with several sample project that demonstrates most of what you need.
