    Just the VCA application to be restarted not the whole mannequin.&nbsp; Still works with canned counds. &nbsp; Makes for interesting responses from the students who suddenly freak out and check a pulse to make sure he didn't croak.&nbsp; ;) &nbsp; Jesse

  • SimMan3G Voice Conference drop outs.

    I am having problems with the VCA dropping out on one of the 3Gs in the lab I manage.&nbsp; It's on 2.4Ghz wireless in station mode to an AP.&nbsp; I don't lose connectivity with the mannequin, just with the VCA cutting out, needed to be closed, and then restarted.&nbsp; Once restarted it works for differing amounts of times from minutes to maybe ...

    Forgot to mention I'm using TurboVNC, which is free under the GNU license. I also keep it on all the simlab computers in the simlab, as means for easier management.&nbsp; Control everything from a high end xeon workstation.

    I just finished a small SimLab where we have 2 3Gs, a newbie, a neonate, and 2 SimMan classics.&nbsp; From what I was told and read people kept stating you had to duplicate wired instructor pc desktops by runnig long cable leads or using converters that would send over cat5e.&nbsp; It didn't make sense to me if you're on a LAN, espeically gigabit. ...
